Gyoza Lettuce Wraps Recipe

Makes 8 servings


low carbs! 1.9 grams sugar per serving/3.9 grams carbs per serving


You can add 1/2 chopped & boiled chopped cabbage to the raw meat mixture before cooking, but we were looking for more protein and less fillers.


After the meat is cooked, it freezes very well...just add a lettuce leaf to the lunch box and it will be defrosted by the time lunch comes around!  Amazingly, this tastes good cold or warm on the lettuce leaf.

Ingredients
6T chopped green onion
2T sesame oil
1T splenda
2T soy sauce
3T freshly grated ginger
1/2t garlic salt
2lb ground turkey (raw)
8lettuce leaves
Directions
  1. Combine, green onion, sesame oil, sugar, soy sauce, ginger & garlic salt in large bowl and mix until cabbage is evenly coated.
  2. Add raw ground turkey and combine with hands.
  3. Crumble in skillet on med-hi and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Put in lettuce leaves and eat with hands. Delish!
