Ingredients
| 2 | lbs steak |
| 1/2 | c soy sauce |
| 2 | T brown sugar |
| 2 | T lemon juice |
| 2 | T olive oil |
| 2 | garlic cloves, minced |
| 1/4 | sweet onion, minced |
| 1 | t ground ginger |
| 1/2 | t ground black pepper |
- In a small bowl combine soy sauce, sugar, lemon, oil, garlic, onion, ginger, pepper.
- If you have the time, place steak and marinade in ziplock bag overnight and refrigerate at least 6 hours. Otherwise, microwave the marinade sauce in its bowl (not the ziplock bag) for 20-30 seconds on high, then place in the ziplock bag with the steak and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Pre-heat grill/oven on high broil. For indoor cooking, lightly spray a pan (or cover in foil) and place steak (without excess marinade) into the pan. For outdoor cooking, lightly oil grill and place steak on grill.
- Grill/broil steak for 7-8 mintues per side, or to desired doneness.
